T3 from FutureNature will share ways to deepen our connection with the natural world by teaching you ways to “take your senses to the gym”. This will help you to reclaim the level of awareness shared by all our hunter-gatherer ancestors. Through skills such as movement, learning not to look but truly see sense, and feel your surroundings. When we “plug-in” to Nature and learn how to communicate with the more-than-human world, we can realize the damage we need to heal within ourselves and our communities and then begin to assume our role as caretakers once again. where we live in harmony with each other, and the Earth. You will learn to immerse yourselves in Nature, not stare at it through a pane of glass. He will also pass on methods to get our young ones back to Nature and away from the lure of the digital world.

Nevada City, CA

4 Elements Earth Education is hosting our 6th "Cyber Tracker" certification in the Sierra Foothills on March 11-12, 2023.
* Limited to 11 students *
* $350 per person *
Track and Sign Certification is a two-day practical field test and learning opportunity that emphasizes open, honest dialogue and real learning. The track and sign of any and all species encountered in the field may be asked, whether big or small, clear or obscure. After participants give their answers, a dialogue ensues between the evaluator and participants to provide the opportunity for everyone involved to learn and to internalize the field marks used for identification. Answers are collected and scored to evaluate each participant’s level of track and sign knowledge.
Tracker Certification emphasizes practical tracking and the development of reliable field skills, and is unassociated with any particular philosophy or tracking school. No prior training is required to participate. For more information on the evaluation process visit: http://trackercertification.com/track-and-signcertifications/. The evaluation is run under the auspices of CyberTracker Conservation, and is administered by a qualified evaluator. Fox Walkers Earth Skills for Adults
with Instructors Pashu Esquibel & Rick Berry
Mondays
January 23 to February 13 2023
3:30 -5:30pm
Burton Educational Preserve in Nevada City, CA. (map)
Step into nature, develop deeper levels of self-confidence and awareness with our adult Fox Walkers program. During a session at Fox Walkers, participants will learn about the Sacred Order of Survival, the basic skills necessary to create a comfortable home in nature. Through the skills of awareness, tracking, shelter, water, fire and food, we can discover and rekindle our true connection with the Earth. In that relationship, 'survival' becomes a dirty word, because there is no need to 'survive' our Earth Mother. Weekly classes will present ancient human skills through hands-on experiences, stories and games. Each day of class will be dictated by the environment and the story of the day.
