Thank you for helping 4EEE share Earth-based education with youth, families, adults, and communities.
We have been steadily growing since our start in 2010; Fox Walkers has a weekly average of 60 students and a total of over 450 students enrolled at our Fox Walkers program at Burton Ranch. Our non-profit offers partial scholarships to about 10% of participants which equals about $10,000. We reached another 400 students as part of custom programs as far away as Alaska, New Jersey, and South Dakota. These programs were with Boy Scouts, Church groups, Schools, and Native American Tribes. This past year in 2017 we had almost a dozen school filed trips to Burton from mostly the Sacramento area and are doing more local public school
Fox Walkers youth nature programs needs your support. Research clearly shows youth need more time in the outdoors. We offer fun, adventuresome programs for youth based in Earth Skills. Earth Skills include, naturalist studies, tracking, wilderness survival skills, bird language, Indigenous Cultural Studies, and plenty of fun games!
With a foundation of nature connection at an early age kids grow up with a knowing that they can trust the Earth and with that creates an opportunity to be creative and live a life that is lead by the heart.
We need your support and if everyone on our mailing list gave $10 we would raise $12,000.00.
Yes! We are excited to announce that we are in the process with the Bear Yuba Land Trust to have the Burton Homestead Land transferred to our 4 Elements Earth Education Non-profit! Your financial support would help us immensely with our long-term goal of having the Burton Homestead the Fox Walkers permanent home.
As in Nature, our organization has slowly grown creating roots in our community that support youth and families in their connection to the natural world. 4EEE would continue to work with BYLT, Tsi-Akim Maidu, and Sierra Harvest to create more youth opportunities, native land management, and forever keep Burton a nature preserve for all to enjoy.
There are also some financial needs we must meet in order to complete the transfer of land besides the land transfer and land ownership expenses. We need funding for staff training and infrastructure improvement for existing structures, outdoor teaching areas, and continuing our scholarship program.
Here are some of our expenses we asking for you to donate to:
$10,000 + for ongoing scholarships
$8000 for yurt (Nature Museum/Library and meeting space).
$2000 for yurt renovations
$2500 for Staff Training
$2500 for outdoor teaching areas (Bark Ramadas)
$2000 for Storage Shed
We are reaching out to you to donate $10 or more to support us as we continue to enrich Youth Nature Education at the Burton Homestead and beyond. Your contribution to 4Elements Earth Education Inc., a 501 3 c non-profit is tax deductible.
Thank you for your generous and loving support,
