Four Fires Returns for Year #11! This rendezvous camp is the brainchild of four California wilderness school leaders, where each school brings a group of teens for a week of advanced nature awareness skills and fun. This program is for teens who have experience with wilderness skills and want to take these skills into another level of "scout" awareness.
Past themes include scouting skills and invisibility, martial arts, hands-on stone age skills, survival quests, and solo overnight quests. We will explore the local forests and watersheds, seek the cool creek bottoms and discover the tops of the summits of the local mountains. Prepare for redefining the word “epic” and resetting your inner fun-o-meter. This is an advanced nature skills week where we will offer the opportunity to meet and share skills with teens from similar nature programs throughout the state and to learn from instructors from different schools.
Because of limited space and the advanced nature of this camp, interested teens should complete an application. << Click Here to Apply >>
Staff will review each application and if necessary, contact individual applicants for an interview. Applicants who are accepted will be sent a subsequent registration link.
We give thanks to The Tracker School for passing on the ways of the Scout through Stalking Wolf's Lineage.

2020 Wilderness Passage and Teen Scout Adventure will be held at the same time.
Every human has four elemental needs: shelter, water, fire and food. Our ancestors were deeply connected to these needs. They knew how to find and create them, and how to pass on the essential skills to the next generation. Without this lineage we would not be here today. Our modern world seems to have forgotten much of this. Wilderness Passages is a week-long journey that reconnects youth with these skills, creating confidence, self sufficiency, and transformation.
We light the ceremonial fire for each passage and provide parental guidance for supporting this transformation before and after the passage.
The Teen Scout Adventure will run alongside Wilderness Passage. This will be a fun, social, teen gathering with Scout games and helping the younger teens in a coyote way with their passage. There will be three meals a day provided with Luke.
Please email Rick Berry , Rick@4eee.org if you are interested in joining us for the Teen Scout Adventure.

Bring your family for a fun-filled wilderness skills week in the Pine Barrens!
Welcome to our 3rd year of offering the Tracker Family Camp. In 2018 Tom Brown Jr. decided to run the first ever Tracker Family Camp. We are excited that we can have families and little ones in the Pine Barrens Primitive Camp learning directly from the places where Tom learned from Stalking Wolf.
We will practice basic survival skills including shelter building, lost-proofing, fire-making, rock tools, cordage and camouflage. We plan to offer more adventures tracking in the Pines as well as more “edge” experiences for returning parents and youth to push their skills. Tom and Rick Berry will be leading this camp with adventures and skills for both youth and Parents.
