Letter from Tom Brown Jr. 2009
Hi Folks;
No doubt, especially if you are in close contact with my folks at COTEF, you have probably heard several different stories about what is taking place with our west coast school. What I want to do here is to explain what is taking place with COTEF and our west coast children’s classes, as they say, “right from the horses mouth.” This way there will be no misunderstanding, rumor, nor innuendo to interfere with what we are trying to do here at COTEF. The most important thing is that Grandfathers’ skills and Vision reaches the children and I feel that I have come up with the best solution to things and situations that have caused COTEF to lose focus.
Basically I am keeping COTEF running here in the east, that is east of the Mississippi running the same way. Because our office is nearly overwhelmed with work I have felt it best to have Rick create his own non-profit organization west of the Mississippi that will follow the same teaching and Vision as does the original COTEF. The west coast school that Rick will found will have its own separate board, office, and teaching staff, totally independent of the original COTEF. I have also advised Juan to do the same with his Native American children’s classes. All three of these non-profit organizations, though independent because of workload constraints, will still share a common Vision; Grandfathers’ Vision of getting the message out to children. All of us will continue to inspire, teach, and lead children back to the Earth as Grandfather had requested so long ago. His Vision now has expanded fully to both coasts and we can give back to native children what Grandfather had given me.
In Medicine,
Tom
