New for Spring 2020 - our Fox Walkers and Coyote Tracks Youth Programs are going ONLINE!
Please join our California-based Fox Walkers team, or our Mid-Atlantic based Coyote Tracks team (or both!) for web-based Zoom sessions starting in mid-April. It is critical that we stay connected to each other and to nature during this unexpected and challenging season. The new online format allows us to bring in special guest instructors and demonstrate skills and share observations from anywhere in the world!
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: You are encouraged to participate as much as like, but you are not required to stay on the meeting. We do ask you to at least help the children login (certainly for the young ones) on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Children may ask for your permission to go into the yard on special missions. We encourage discussing guidelines/boundaries for these activities in advance of the meetings, particularly if there are areas around your home they should not explore.
Families with young children (ages 3-5), click here to check out our new Fox Walkers' Family Hour!

Program Description:
These programs are designed to provide age-appropriate nature connection activities and wilderness skills education to children while at home via distance learning and video chatting. Parents/guardians are welcome to participate at whatever capacity they choose!
Our web-based programs begin and end with group sharing opportunities, story times, and gratitude ‘circles’ to allow for socializing and camaraderie. Then we jump into fun games, activities, and challenging missions that take place outside in participants' yards or nearby open spaces. Our goal is to have participants outside as much as possible during these programs.
Participants will develop their awareness toward the magic presence in the natural world that surrounds them, and begin to better understand their place within it. All program content is presented and guided by seasoned nature connection and wilderness skills professionals who have well established relationships with nature connection strategies and benefits for children of different age groups and abilities. These programs are aimed to be fun, engaging, tactile, and educational. We hope you will join us!
