Four Fires Returns for Year #11! This rendezvous camp is the brainchild of four California wilderness school leaders, where each school brings a group of teens for a week of advanced nature awareness skills and fun. This program is for teens who have experience with wilderness skills and want to take these skills into another level of "scout" awareness.
Past themes include scouting skills and invisibility, martial arts, hands-on stone age skills, survival quests, and solo overnight quests. We will explore the local forests and watersheds, seek the cool creek bottoms and discover the tops of the summits of the local mountains. Prepare for redefining the word “epic” and resetting your inner fun-o-meter. This is an advanced nature skills week where we will offer the opportunity to meet and share skills with teens from similar nature programs throughout the state and to learn from instructors from different schools.
Because of limited space and the advanced nature of this camp, interested teens should complete an application. << Click Here to Apply >>
Staff will review each application and if necessary, contact individual applicants for an interview. Applicants who are accepted will be sent a subsequent registration link.
We give thanks to The Tracker School for passing on the ways of the Scout through Stalking Wolf's Lineage.
If you are in need of a scholarship for your child and would like more information, please CLICK HERE.
