Full weekend of Dirt Time and connection with community.
4EEE welcomes you to an immersive family experience with nature, earth skills, and community!
This program takes place at the legendary "Primitive Camp" deep in the New Jersey Pine Barrens, the exact location where Tom Brown Jr. learned from his mentor Stalking Wolf, and also where the story of our organization begins. This location is beautiful, empowered by stories, and adored by the many thousands who have come from all over the world to learn the "Old Ways". Our Primitive Camp Fall Family Weekends started back in 2018, and is one of our favorite offerings of the year.
We can’t wait for you and your loved ones to join us and be a part of these very special experiences!
Join us Friday - Sunday, October 24th - 26th, 2025.
Days are spent practicing Earth Skills, such as wildlife tracking, survival skills or wilderness awareness, just some of the ancient skills that have bound humans, animals and nature since the beginning of time. Evenings, enhanced by firelight, create space for storytelling and nighttime activities that remind us of the timeless thrill present when darkness and our senses meet. All games, stories, skills, and activities shared are inspired by indigenous teachings and designed to further the personal relationships between the participants present and the Earth herself.
All ages are welcome. Programming is geared toward ages 7 and up. Age groupings are often created so that each grouping experiences tailored skills and activities. All meals are provided (and frankly, delicious!) including dinner on Friday, breakfast / lunch / snacks / dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
We offer sliding scale pricing, subsidized by donations from supporters of our mission. Please select a contribution level consistent with your means. Thank you!*
Level 1: $675
Level 2 (reduced-price contribution): $525
Level 3 (subsidized): $375
Level 4 (youth aged 7 & under): $100
We can't wait to gather with nature and each other around the fire and under the stars. All you need to do is register, arrive, and relax into a full weekend of Dirt Time and connection with community.
We can’t wait to gather with you.
See you soon!
- Rick Berry & the 4E Crew
* We have adjusted our pricing model, each family member can select a different price level that meets your families budget.
