Our Mission:
To offer a space that facilitates the establishment of a community that will share, learn and offer varied teachings of our Ecology and Environment through science and indigenous knowledge with intention to relearn Nature’s pathways and establish a healthy, supported relationship with self and Mother Earth.
Vision of the Future:
We have big plans and a to-do list of things we are slowly working on to make the Red Sun Ranch more hospitable for more people.

A Well.
We currently have a well on the property, but the water has high salinity and while it can be consumed, it is not optimal for consistent drinking.
Restrooms/Showers.
It’s always nice to have a loo and a scrub.
Covered Areas.
Texas heat can be difficult, but with covered areas to learn under, we’re making the Ranch more accessible more time out of the year.
Pond.
We feel like the Ranch is not only a sanctuary for people, but animals as well. Water is hard to come by in some parts of Texas, we want to provide water to encourage the repopulation of native animals and plants on the land as well as provide much needed rest areas for migrating birds.
Observation/Feeding areas.
Trails that lead to observation/sitting areas through the thorny brush of the land will also give us more opportunities to feed the animals in various locations.
