Hands on the Land - A Gather to Give 4EEE Event
This January, we invite you to join us at Burton Educational Preserve for this volunteer event: Hands on the Land.
4EEE has been part of the story at Burton since 2010 and became the deed holders in 2019 when the Bear Yuba Land Trust transferred the Land to our non-profit. With that blessing comes great responsibility: to tend, maintain, restore, and caretake the land, and to ensure it can continue to support programs, families, and deep connection for years to come.
That’s where you come in.
We're launching our first: “Gather to Give” event for 2026, a series of gatherings that will focus on giving back. Instructors and staff will volunteer their time and skills, leading us in different projects across varying locations.
Our first event will be hosted at Burton Educational Preserve!
We are partnering with Bear Yuba Land Trust to offer this community volunteer day on Saturday January 31st. This marks our first in a series that will be offered each season this year. This is a time to gather with purpose, to put our Hands on the Land, and to give back to the place that has shaped our children, our families, our community and our path.
Between 2019 and 2024, 4EEE invested an average of $100,000 per year into the Burton site. For more than 15 years, 4 Elements Earth Education has offered the Fox Walkers Youth Programs, rooted in connection to land, community, and ancestral ways of knowing. Fox Walkers needs community support now to continue into 2026 and beyond.
We can’t wait to gather with you.
